The Christian Leadership (CLF) Forum

Have you ever wished for a way to talk with other Christian leaders who might be struggling with the same problems and situations as you? Have you ever wanted to know if there are any upcoming seminars or conferences relevant to Christian leadership? Have you ever wanted to learn how other Christians are using computers for their ministries? Have you ever wanted to discuss with other leaders the various issues a leader faces? Have you ever wanted advice on small groups? Have you ever wanted to know what it actually means to be a leader? If you can answer "yes" to any of these questions, then the Christian Leadership Forum can help you.

The Christian Leadership Forum is an electronic mailing list accessible from all major computer networks that provide e-mail to the internet, such as CompuServe, America Online, Prodigy, Delphi and others. The Christian Leadership Forum is now housed on the major list hosting service called "ONELIST." The list will automatically resend all e-mail messages it receives to a list of subscribers. Each subscriber sees all the mail that is forwarded, which allows discussion to take place with people from all over the world. To take part in a discussion one simply sends a message to the Christian Leadership Forum address.

The purpose of the Christian Leadership Forum is to help Christian leaders with their various ministries by networking them with other leaders around the globe. These leaders include college fellowship leaders, pastors, music leaders and others. Problems can be shared and other subscribers of Christian Leadership Forum can offer solutions, suggestions, comments, or other helpful information. Ideas can be exchanged concerning small group, evangelism, discipleship and other programs. New computer software, conferences and seminars that are relevant to Christian leadership can be posted to inform leaders what is available to them. Various leadership topics can also be discussed such as: What does it mean to be a servant leader? How does one balance social life and leadership responsibilities? How can leaders be more effective in a time of change and still remain Biblical? These questions and any others you might have can be discussed with Christian leaders, from not only all over the country, but also from all over the world. Most of all, the Christian Leadership Forum can provide a place where leaders can receive encouragement, support and prayers from other Christians.

The cost to subscribe is free. The only cost you may have to pay is for acquiring an account with a commercial service such as Delphi, America Online, CompuServe, Netcom, and Prodigy.

To participate in the discussions that occur on the Christian Leadership Forum, you will need a service that provides e-mail to the internet. Services such as CompuServe, America Online, Netcom, Prodigy and Delphi all provide this. Many colleges and large companies also provide this e-mail service as well.
