CHRISTIAN MACINTOSH USER'S GROUP (CMUG)
An international body of Christians who use computer technology for the Glory of God. Quite often ministries and individuals are hampered because they are not using any technology (or they are getting the wrong solutions using their technology). We all know that the computer industry is a fast changing field. It is very hard to stay current, unless one invests in a lot of time. Investing time in technology takes time away from ministry. CMUG can bridge that gap by providing information focused on and related to ministry. CMUG has brought together a wealth of information for Christians interested in using Macintosh computing resources. - Adapted from Christian Macintosh Users Group, Douglas Wade. CMUG presents a formidable base of information available to all who visit the site. This includes thorough and well presented writing on all aspects of computing in the form of His Servant Newsletter, and Writers for CMUG (both periodicals represented in the Newsletters/ Journals section of this guide), an extensive Biblical Software Database that integrates software at CMUG's FTP site. Highly Recommended.
CMUG FTP: Find extensive software: fonts, utilities, clip-art, etc. under "WARES" at the main website.

CHRISTIAN THEOLOGICAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP
CTRF is the Christian Theological Research Fellowship, a scholarly, Christian organization promoting systematic and moral theology, along with related disciplines. The Fellowship gathers to provide Christian fellowship among academic theologians; to provide an ecumenical and international forum in North America for the development of Christian doctrine and ethics; to stimulate Christian theological thinking in the context of the AAR/SBL convention; to stimulate theological renewal that focuses on the mainstream of Christian tradition, guided by the belief that theology is truth-seeking (fides quaerens intellectum); and, to provide various avenues for the publication of academic theology. The focus of the group, set forth in their mission statement, lies in the development and advancement of the Apostolic tradition (the mainstream or consensus of Christian doctrinal history), not simply in its description or criticism. -- quoted from What is the CTRF. The web site provides the fellowship's CTRF News and Notes, Papers presented at the annual meeting of the CTRF, and the Journal for Christian Theological Research, all described in the Journals/ Newsletters section of this guide.
