WATCHTOWER FALSE PREDICTIONS by Thomas Carl McCaskey Most people do not know that the Watchtower ACTUALLY DID predict "the end of the world" in their own publications. Jehovah's Witnesses will vehemently deny this, but their denials shatter upon the presentation of the Watchtower's OWN PUBLICATIONS. Let's take a look at what the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society ACTUALLY SAID! The following quote comes directly from the Watchtower's publication called "Kingdom Ministry", May 1974, page 3: "Reports are heard of brothers selling their homes and property and planning to finish out the rest of their days in this old system in the pioneer service. Certainly this is a fine way to spend the short time remaining BEFORE THE WICKED WORLD'S END." [emphasis mine - TCM] And let's look at what was published in a much earlier Watchtower publication called "Creation", page 307: "This is another strong corrobative proof of the Lord's presence and of the END OF THE WORLD, beginning in 1914." [emphasis mine - TCM] These are two instances where the Watchtower clearly predicted the end of the world (even stated that in the same words) and got it TOTALLY WRONG! Let's look at another instance where the Watchtower royally fouled up. From the Watchtower publication "Millions Now Living Will Never Die", page 88: "The chief thing to be restored is the human race to life: and since other Scriptures definitely fix the fact that there will be a resurrection of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and other faithful ones of old, and that these will have first favor, we may expect 1925 to witness the return of these faithful men of Israel from the condition of death, being resurrected and fully restored to perfect humanity and made the visible, legal representatives of the new order of things on earth." So where were Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and all the other faithful ones of old back in 1925? Well, I can tell you where they WEREN'T: they WEREN'T on this earth as the Watchtower predicted. This should make it clear to EVERYONE who has a regular reader on this echo that the Watchtower has taught false prophecy. Here's a lesson in simple logic: Watchtower = False prophet False prophet = Not of God (Deuteronomy 18) THEREFORE, Watchtower = Not of God Simple, unarguable logic. So why do those Jehovah's Witnesses believe an organization like the Watchtower when it has been shown time and time again the lies and deceit they espouse? If you ARE a Jehovah's Witness, save yourself from the lies and deceit of the Watchtower. I pray that God will open your eyes to the unGodliness of the Watchtower and give you strength and courage to leave this unholy cult. -------------------------------------------- file: /pub/resources/text/apl/jw: jw-030.txt .
