Reformed Bible College Names Nicholas Kroeze to Presidency

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (April 22, 1995) URNS - The Board of Trustees of Reformed
Bible College has appointed Dr. Nicholas V. Kroeze to be the next president
of the college, located in the northeast suburbs of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

 Kroeze is currently vice-president for student affairs at Dordt College in
Sioux Center, Iowa.  Prior to taking this position he was assistant principal
at Kalamazoo Christian High School and an instructor in Spanish, Bible, and
English.  He earned his doctorate at Western Michigan University in
educational leadership.

 Kroeze's wife, Gloria, served with Christian Reformed Home Missions in New
Mexico prior to their marriage.  Together they served with Christian Reformed
World Missions as missionaries in Mexico for seven years.  The Kroezes have
four children.

 Dr. Roger Greenway, Calvin Seminary professor of missions and chairman of
the search committee said, "The decision to nominate Dr. Kroeze was reached
after a great deal of prayer and deliberation.  From the first meeting, the
committee determined to bathe the search process in prayer and it did so."

 "We were looking for a man of God who had a contagious faith and a
missionary vision.  We believe that we have found such a man," said Greenway.

 Kroeze will succeed Dr. Edwin Roels who has served the college as president
for eight years.

 Reformed Bible College, historically associated with the Christian Reformed
denomination, is an independent four-year degree-granting institution which
trains missionaries and evangelistic workers.
